Minibuses

Callander Youth Project has two minibuses availble to hire: one 17 seater 2007 model Ford minibus, and one slightly older 15 seater Ford minibus, kindly donated to the project by the Loch Lomond and Trossach's National Park. These minibuses can be used by community groups and organisations, schools and individuals. You will however require a MiDAS certificate to drive them.

Pricing For all community groups, charities, and local organisations:

  • £40 for the first 60 miles.
  • £0.50 for any additional mileage.

Any commercial organisations wishing to use the CYP minibuses must contact the CYP office. Please also note that an excess of £150 is payable by any organisation using the minibus in the event of an accident.

Availability and Booking In order to book either of the CYP minibuses for hire, please complete the downloadable Booking Form and return to CYP either by email or post. In order to make the Booking Form accessible to the widest possible audience, we have provided two alternative formats (Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF) so you can select the one that is best for you.

Callander To College MinibusCallander Youth Project run a Callande- to-College minibus service every week day morning, and this year we extended this service to start from Killin every morning, stopping at Lochearnhead and Strathyre on the way to Callander. The CYP minibus leaves Killin at 7am and arrives in Callander in time to leave Ancaster Square at 7.45am. It makes a pick-up in Doune and then drops off at Stirling bus depot at 8.15am in time to meet the free Clackmannan College bus. The CYP minibus then makes a stop at the Forth Valley College Stirling Campus, and finally completes the run by dropping off at the Forth Valley College Falkirk Campus at around 8.45am. Our CYP bus also makes a return journey from FVC in Falkirk to Callander and Killin at the end of each college day.

If you are attending any of the Forth Valley College campuses (or training or other further education in the Stirling area) and would like to take advantage of our Callander-to-College minibus service, please complete the form below and return it to the CYP office in the McLaren Leisure Centre. Please note that you must be eligible for travel bursary from the college or from another training or education organisation in order to travel on the bus. Otherwise you will be asked to pay a fee for travel.
